Affiliate Agreement

This agreement is between you (the “affiliate”) and Tau Publishing, LLC, an Indiana limited liability company, publisher of Home and Hearth Baker (“we” or “us”). By sharing your affiliate link after we accept your application, you agree to it.

Your link

We give you a personal referral link. Your link does not expire; you may share it for as long as this agreement lasts. When a visitor arrives through it, our website remembers your code in that visitor's browser for 60 days. If the visitor buys within that time, the purchase is credited to you. If another affiliate's link is used later, the most recent link gets the credit. Purchases made on another device or browser, or after the visitor clears their browser data, may not be credited.

Commissions

$30 for each Home and Hearth Baker license, including the program-and-book bundle.
$5 for each copy of the book, including the one in the bundle.
No commission on your own purchases, on purchases by your household, on orders that are charged back or reversed, or on purchases we reasonably believe are fraudulent.

Payment

We pay once a month by PayPal, for credited sales at least 30 days old, once your balance reaches $25. Before your first payment you must send us a completed IRS Form W-9 (download it from the IRS). You are responsible for your own taxes; we file the tax forms the law requires.

How you may promote

Clearly disclose that you may earn a commission, near your link or recommendation, as the Federal Trade Commission requires. For example: “I earn a commission if you buy through my link.”
Describe the program truthfully. Don't promise legal compliance, income or results; Home and Hearth Baker helps bakers follow their state's regulations but is not legal advice.
Don't send spam, post your link where it isn't allowed, bid on our brand names in search ads, or use our name or logo in a way that suggests you are us.
You may use the screenshots, video and descriptions we provide.

Ending the agreement

Either of us may end this agreement at any time by email. We pay commissions earned before it ends, except where these terms were broken.

Other terms

You are an independent contractor, not our employee or agent. We may change these terms or the commission amounts with 30 days' notice by email; sales before the change keep the old terms. Indiana law governs this agreement.
